The Nardi Gas Guardian monitors compressed breathing air continuously while the compressor runs. It alarms on the gases that matter and can shut the compressor down rather than only warn the operator. Every reading is logged, so air quality between scheduled air tests is on record, not assumed.
The base unit reads humidity, flow and temperature. Gas sensors are modular and are chosen when the unit is ordered, so each system carries the sensors its work requires and can be expanded later. Alarm thresholds are user adjustable to match local or site limits. The analyzer stabilises the sample at 50 bar (725 psi) and validates flow at 2 L/min before it reads, so every value is measured under controlled conditions.
Three versions:
- Integrated. Factory fitted in a new Nardi Pacific compressor and powered from the machine, with the readout on the compressor control panel. Ordered together with the compressor.
- Wall mounted. A display panel that adds continuous monitoring to a compressor already in service.
- Portable. Built into a rugged, water resistant case for moving between sites and fill points.
Key features:
- Continuous monitoring with configurable alert and alarm shutdown limits
- Optional sensors for CO, CO2, O2, CO with H2S, helium, VOC and oil vapour, and certified humidity
- Factory alarm points of 5 ppm CO and 500 ppm CO2
- Calibrated to EN 12021, and supports the CSA Z180.1, NFPA 1989 and CGA G-7.1 Grade E limits
- Data logging and IoT connectivity for remote monitoring
- Routine calibration on site, with no return to the factory
See the Specifications tab for full technical specifications.
The integrated version is available on new compressors in the Breathing Air Compressors range.
